Hours for cherry picking are 9:00-4:30 daily including holidays and of course weekends. Our NY family farm market will be open till 7:00 PM 7 days a week. Bring a grill, the kids, the dogs and have a picnic in our beautiful orchards!
Cherry Picking starts June 15th and lasts about 3 weeks!
Dig out the picnic basket and come spend the day on our farm and enjoy the beautiful Hudson Valley views. Pick your own cherries is open from 9:00 to 4:30 daily and runs about three weeks depending on the birds (who like cherries too), the weather and the number of PYO customers we have each day. Queen Anne and sour cherries are later, around the 4th of July.
Important: Please try to bring your own containers. We have limited supplies of
buckets. We recommend a medium size bucket with a handle. Add to the handle the hook
part of a hanger. This will let you hang your bucket in the tree. This really makes
PYO much more enjoyable.
Don't forget to have the container weighed at the farm market before you start picking
so we don't include its weight in the final cherry weighing.
Cherry Picking Tips:
Pick cherries with stems. They will last for several weeks
Cherries with no stems last only days.
Minimums - You will be charged:
$5.00 if you're 12 and older.
$3.00 for kids 6 - 11
Per pound charge:
under 25 pounds $2.25 per pound
25 to 50 pounds $2.15 per pound
over 51 pounds $2.00 per pound
